Food Network television celebrity Guy Fieri was named Grand Marshal of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at  Infineon Raceway.   Mr. Fieri, a Santa Rosa resident, won the title on the hit show, “The Next Food Network Star.”

Banking & Finance

Richard Stone, founder and CEO of Salient Wealth Management in San Rafael, was ranked No. 4 in a list of the top 25 independent wealth management advisers in Northern California. He was also ranked the highest in Marin County.



Thomas Nave was named vice president for Tamalpais Bank in downtown San Rafael. Mr. Nave will be responsible for handling consumer and business customer relationships.



Travis Credit Union in Vacaville announced appointed Deborah Aspling, a health care executive with more than 17 years of executive leadership experience, to its board of directors. Ms. Aspling currently holds the position of chief operating officer at Kaiser Permanente hospitals in Roseville and Sacramento.

Biotech

Senetek PLC in Napa appointed veteran sales and marketing executive Phillip Rose as its chief operating officer and retained J. David Bruner as a full-time marketing consultant. Senetek is engaged in the development of technologies that target the science of healthy aging.

Health Care

Ken Di Lillo joined Reach Air Medical Holdings Inc. of Santa Rosa as chief financial officer. Gary Feldman was appointed business development director, and Rhoann Ponseti is the new director of marketing.

Nonprofit Organizations

Martin Brand joined the faculty at the Buck Institute for Age Research in Novato.  Dr. Brand, known internationally for his work on mitochondria, is establishing a laboratory at the institute with diabetes as part of its research focus.

Real Estate

Frank Howard Allen Realtors added eight new agents to offices throughout Marin and Sonoma counties: Mary Beth Brenner in Mill Valley, Jim Land and Joe Laughlin in Greenbrae, Hilary Davis in San Rafael, Kathee Giannini and Andrea Horta in Novato and Deborah Boyd and Magda Kimball in Santa Rosa.



Realtor Maridel Perlas of Santa Rosa-based CPS/Avalar is the first Filipino to receive a Cesar Chavez Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted to the Redwood Empire Business Hall of Fame. She was also presented a certificate of recognition by the California State Legislature.   



San Francisco-based McGuire Real Estate appointed Leslie Jacobson Realtor associate in its Mill Valley office. Ms.  Jacobson joins McGuire from Tam Realty in San Rafael.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car named Chenoa Christenson as regional loss control manager for its Novato office.
