Nonprofit & Community Organizations

Homeless programs in Sonoma County were awarded nearly $900,000 in Federal Emergency Shelter Grant funds by the Department of Housing and Community Development. The recipients include the Catholic Charities Diocese of Santa Rosa, Committee on the Shelterless and the Interfaith Shelter Network.



Marin businesses donated more than $60,000 and put in 3,088 hours of work for the “Week of Caring,” sponsored by the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership and the United Way of the Bay Area.



Wells Fargo Center for the Arts received $65,000 in advertising funds from Sonoma County’s transient occupancy distribution.

Napa-based Sterling Vineyards released a new line of organic wines grown in Mendocino County, including a sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon.
